Thousands of people of every age, experienced athletes, amateur runners, mummies with prams and children created a different, festive Sunday morning, by participating to the parallel races of 7th Ioannina Lake Run. The massive participation of more than 1.500 runners and the high level of the event organization highlighted it as the leading one conducted in Epirus.

All runners enjoyed a beautiful route, as they experienced running along the lakeside of Pamvotis lake, that lies at the center of a 480 meters-high basin in a picturesque mountain setting, with the "Kyra Frosyni" Island in its middle. The 7th Ioannina Lake Run was a great opportunity to explore the vivid city of Ioannina, surrounded by abundant natural beauty and endowed with rich historical evidence
